Take advantage of the current Holiday Sale Pricing!
Two fine art photographers—father and daughter—explore Niagara Falls through five thematic chapters that move beyond iconic tourist views to reveal the hidden beauty, quiet moments, and abstract details of one of nature's most powerful landscapes.
Two photographers. One shared vision of impermanence and wonder.
Living minutes from Niagara Falls, fine art photographer Joshua Smith and his daughter Miana spent years capturing the falls across all seasons, weather conditions, and moods.
This isn't a guidebook—it's a meditation on seeing, on creative partnership, and on what gets revealed when you return to the same subject with patient attention. Josh brings expertise in Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi philosophy, and fine art photography. Miana completed her mentorship at CEPA Gallery in Buffalo and brings an emerging artist's fresh perspective. Together, they created something neither could have made alone.
FIVE CHAPTERS. ONE JOURNEY.
- Chapter 1: Thunder and Mist Power, awe, and impermanence. The falls in full force—roaring water, dense mist, and monumental scale.
- Chapter 2: Stillness Between the Falls Quietude and subtle beauty. Serene corners most visitors overlook—still water, mist-draped stone, gentle cascades.
- Chapter 3: Flowing Between Worlds Transitions and movement. The liminal spaces where rivers become falls, where seasons shift, where change reveals itself.
- Chapter 4: Framed by Us Human presence and curated experience. How bridges, paths, and design shape how we encounter nature.
- Chapter 5: The Unseen Falls Abstraction and revelation. Macro photography and intentional camera movement reveal hidden worlds in water droplets and refracted light.
